JUNIOR /NEWLY QUALIFIED DOCTORS WANTED FOR NHS ROLES

IMS Recruitment is a leading recruiter of European doctors for the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).

We now are working with the NHS to bring newly qualified/junior doctors to work in hospitals across the UK.

IMS will provide all the advice and assistance you will need to start working in the UK.

If you have very good English (you will need to pass IELTS), IMS wants to hear from you.

Offer

  • £30,000 starting salary
  • £5,000 relocation allowance when you start work

Requirements

  • Recently qualified or junior doctor from an EU country
  • Final year medical students will also be considered for future roles.
  • If non EU, you must have passed PLAB 2 or have GMC registration.

Interviews will be in January in the UK (travel expenses of £150 paid), for a start date in the Middle of 2018.

To be interviewed, you do not have to have passed IELTS or have GMC, but you will need do this before commencing work in UK.

This Widening Access to Specialty Training (WAST) scheme is a 12-month programme, based in England that will involve:

  • 6 months in a psychiatry setting
  • 6 months in an acute hospital setting
  • 2 introductory weeks within General Practice

This programme is ideal for doctors wanting to become a general practitioner (family) doctor or psychiatrist in England; an opportunity to work in England while receiving regular teaching and clinical exposure that will help to improve the skills and competences required for admission to specialty training through the national selection processes.
